Who should choose which?
- Choose Ivy if you want an out-of-the-box system for proposals, purchasing and payments and are happy with its workflows.
- Choose InteriorDesignOS if you value flexibility, own your data in Notion and use separate tools for proposals and payments.
- Choose neither yet if you run one or two projects: a free Notion dashboard may be enough.
Frequently asked questions
- Is InteriorDesignOS an alternative to Ivy?
- For organising projects, selections and approvals, yes; it does not provide Ivy's proposals, purchase orders or payments.
- Does InteriorDesignOS include proposals?
- No. You write proposals in your own tools and track the resulting projects and fees in the template.
- Can I move from the template to Ivy later?
- Yes. You can export from Notion and import records into other software as needed.
- Which is cheaper?
- The template is a one-time purchase plus your Notion plan; Ivy is a subscription. Compare current pricing.
- Can clients see my work in Notion?
- Only pages you share with them; share a dedicated client page rather than internal databases.
